The Department of Psychology is pleased to host Prof. Dr. Peter Brugger, Professor Emeritus of Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at the University of Zurich.
We tend to think of a phantom limb as the ghost of a lost arm or leg. Yet people born without limbs can vividly feel, and even move, limbs that never existed: animation without incarnation. Others live with a healthy limb that never feels like their own: incarnation without animation.
