Program's Mission and Vision
The Mission of the Program
The mission of the Department of Psychology at Izmir University of Economics is to educate individuals who are well-versed in the fundamental principles and theories of psychology. They should possess the ability to think scientifically and conduct research by following the stages of the scientific method. Furthermore, they should act with a sense of social responsibility within the framework of professional and scientific ethical principles. They should be critical, autonomous, and creative thinkers capable of generating innovative solutions to individual and societal problems.
The Vision of the Program
The vision of the Department of Psychology at Izmir University of Economics is to provide a learning and application environment that supports the academic and personal development of our students in line with the vision of Izmir University of Economics. We aim to contribute to the advancement of the science of psychology both locally and globally by providing education at a universal level. Additionally, we strive to become a recognized and preferred department of psychology among universities in Turkey and around the world.
