NECESSARY VOCATIONAL TRAINING

  1. NECESSARY VOCATIONAL TRAINING
    1. INTERNSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS
      1. First of all, carefully review the Izmir University of Economics Internship Guide (https://kariyer.ieu.edu.tr/tr/staj-kilavuzu).
      2. When determining the institution where you will do your internship, make sure that there is a psychologist who is actively working in the institution and will mentor you. Your aim during your internship is to observe what a psychologist does, what kind of duties he undertakes and what is expected from him in an institution where you may work in the future. Therefore, institutions where you cannot make such an observation will not be approved.
      3. To determine the date range of your summer and mid-term internships, follow the Career Guidance Center's announcements titled "What to Do for an Internship Application". Please remember that you must complete your internship within the internship date determined by the center.
      4. When determining the dates you will do your internship, make sure that your internship period is at least 20 working days and whether there are public holidays or religious holidays on the dates you specify.
      5. Have the Internship Acceptance Form signed by the official at the institution where you will do your internship and stamped (if there is an institutional stamp).
      6. Get approval for the institution where you will do your internship by having the signed Internship Acceptance form signed by one of the Internship Commission members (Aylin Koçak Şen, Nevra Cem Ersoy and Canan Başar Eroğlu).
      7. The original signed Internship Acceptance form should be sent to Res. Asst. Seda Orpak and send the photocopies (2 copies) to the Career Guidance Center (Block A, 2nd Floor).
      8. Also, send the eligibility certificate (https://phoenix.ieu.edu.tr/betanix/uploads/cms/kariyer.ieu.edu.tr/6436_1644835272.pdf) to the Career Guidance Center.
